Dog toys are not just for dogs

If your dog is interested in toys (which I guess most are) you'll know how much a good play enriches his day. Our dogs love their toys whether it's chasing a ball or worrying away at a distraction toy to get the goodies out of it. Buddy's favourite toy of all time was his Kong Wubba, which is the only toy he ever stood up to Star over, refusing very un-Labrador-like to share it. Star loves her plush squeaky telephone toy, but she can only have supervised access to it because Buddy would see it off in two minutes flat.

Dogs Trust takes the lead during Dog Train & Behave Week

The Company of Animals is delighted to announce that as part of its third Dog Train & Behave Week (25th July -1st August 2009), it staged a master class on ‘stop pulling’ at Dogs Trust’s Harefield centre in West London on Tuesday 28th July.

Don't be a human maypole

How many dogs do you walk? I’m usually accompanied by two, which I can just about manage, except when I have to juggle two leads in one hand, and open and use a poop bag, and at the moment avoid dropping my gloves in the aforementioned poop!
