Calling all Muggles! RSPCA Newport appeals to find special home for abandoned dog who looks like Harry Potter character

The RSPCA Newport Animal Centre is appealing to find a special home for a crossbreed dog called Cooper who came into the charity’s care after he was abandoned.

The 18-month-old dog was left behind in a property in August last year before being rescued by the RSPCA.

He has been undergoing rehabilitation at the animal centre in Newport with the charity’s experienced behaviourists and is now ready to find his special home.

An unwanted Staffie who was rescued by the RSPCA after being abandoned has transformed into a life-saving explosives search dog who protects the Royal family.

Five-year-old Roxy was rescued by RSPCA officers after being abandoned in 2017. She was taken in by the charity’s West Hatch Animal Centre, in Somerset.
