Shelley

Shelley loves going for long walks, where she can get to explore all the interesting smells. She loves to play fetch and football and always has a toy in her mouth. Shelley really enjoys trips out in the car, especially if she might get a splash in the water or swim. Shelley is house trained and happy at home alone for a few hours with a tasty treat to keep her occupied. She is an intelligent, fun and friendly girl who would suit an active adult home. If you can offer this canny collie her forever home please get in touch!
Shelley is at Dogs Trust West Calder.

Rocco

Rocco is a fun loving five year old Border Collie who loves to play. He is worried by strangers and dogs but has slowly been building up his confidence at the centre and has met a few dogs that accompany him on his walks. Rocco would enjoy walks in the countryside and needs an adult only home as he would prefer to be the only pet. Rocco is a real water baby and even has a pool in his kennel in the summer! He misses the water so much in winter that he'll head straight for a dip in the river when out on walks.
Rocco is at Dogs Trust West Calder.

George the Staffie is hoping for a foster home during his stay at Battersea

George the nine month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier is one of the Battersea dogs waiting to find a foster home while he waits for his forever home. The home is anticipating the usual influx of pets in March, as the novelty of Christmas present pets wears off.

Hudson the Staffie keeps warm in the snow

While heavy snowfall has caused travel chaos across most of the UK, dogs at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home are making the most of Britain’s blizzard.

Many of the 450 dogs at Battersea have had their first taste of snow today, such as six month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Hudson, who arrived at the Home as his owners could no longer care for him. Like Hudson, many of the dogs being walked this weekend will be wrapped up in handmade knitted pullovers sent in by the charity’s supporters to help keep them warm.
