Crufts 2017

Crufts is always a great chance to meet up with old friends and make new ones, and this show is a mix of just that.

You can hear from Jackie Mavro, the Secretary of the Pennine and Scottish French Bulldog Association on why French Bulldogs are a great dog, but how popularity may not be such a great thing for the breed. We also meet some Frenchies who do agility.

Judith Broug and Garry Botterill celebrate Service Dogs UK's second birthday and first Crufts, and share with us the difference the charity is making to lives. You can hear a more in depth interview about the charity in Episode 169.

Debbie Connolly tells us about her Pet Parent Club, and how her legal work has highlighted for her the need to get children and dogs to live in harmony together.

Dr Claire Guest talks about how Medical Detection Dogs is going from strength to strength - and about training a cat detection dog!

Doug the Pug Therapy Dog who has his own Instagram account with thousands of followers, not to mention his own book from which all the profits go to Pets As Therapy, is an oasis of calm in the melee of Crufts.
Julie finds out from John Howie just what lengths his company Lintbells goes to to make Yumove such an effective product at fighting arthritis. You can see an interview with John in The Dog News Show Crufts Special on You Tube, and hear about another of their products, YumPro in Episode 129 of DogCast Radio.
