This looks like my Indy! Can't believe I found another dog with the same mix!
I had a chow/dachshund breed male dog when I was 10 years old for almost 9 years. The entire family loved him probably more than any other pet we had. He was loyal and very protective of the entire family. I always said if I could find another one like him I wouldn't hesitate to get it. This picture looks just like my dog "Brownie". If you know of anyone that has one for adoption/sale please contact me.
I have a chow mix that looks very much like the photo of yours. Mine is named Pugsley and he is probably the absolute happiest dog I have ever known. He loves everybody without condition. He has none of the over-bearing characteristics that chows are known for.
He has floppy/low hanging ears and when he raises his ears make the top of his head appear to be flat. He's about 45-50 lbs, short and nothing but muscle.
I can send a pic if you want .
