Julie and Wallace the Guide Dog
This episode is a special devoted to the marvelous work that guide dogs do. We all know how our dogs enrich our lives and touch our hearts in so many ways, but to some people their dog is essential.
Julie Rodaway is blind, and she and her guide dog, Wallace, make a great team. We went to meet them both, and we learned a lot about the invaluable service guide dogs provide.
How much do you know about the training process that produces a guide dog? What is a guide dog's life like? Do they get to play, and are they ever off-duty? How easy is it to get a guide dog?
