Lily and owner reunited thanks to microchip

Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Lily, made a dash for the outdoors, only to leave her owners frantically worried as to her whereabouts. Luckily she was reunited with her owner from Pimlico at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home because she was microchipped.

Hudson the Staffie keeps warm in the snow

While heavy snowfall has caused travel chaos across most of the UK, dogs at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home are making the most of Britain’s blizzard.
Many of the 450 dogs at Battersea have had their first taste of snow today, such as six month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Hudson, who arrived at the Home as his owners could no longer care for him. Like Hudson, many of the dogs being walked this weekend will be wrapped up in handmade knitted pullovers sent in by the charity’s supporters to help keep them warm.

Tala, my Staffordshire Bull Terrier

This is my gorgeous Staffie Tala chilling out in the conservatory and on her first visit to the seaside.
She came on holiday with us in September and had a great time playing with all the other dogs on the beach.
She has been well socialised from a young puppy and gets on well with all dogs and people, especially children.
My previous Staffie, Cleo, a rescue, died at the great age of sixteen after a happy, healthy life with us.
