The Mayhew Animal Home holds annual Hounds on the Heath event

The Mayhew Animal Home is holding their annual family and dog summer event, Hounds on the Heath, taking place on Sunday July 10th 2016 between 11am and 4pm at Hampstead Heath – and it is sure to be a dogtastic day out!

Previously known as Hyde Bark, The Mayhew’s summer event, now its fifth year, may have a new home and name but not much else has changed – just that it is bigger and better than ever before.

Set in the heart of North London with the scenic city skyline as its backdrop, The Mayhew brings together a host of celebrities and an eclectic mix of stalls, activities, and entertainment.

There will be fun for the whole family including four legged members, with a celebrity judged dog show, an agility course provided by Friendly Creatures, and a meet and greet with dog behaviourist expert Kevin McNicholas.

Throughout the day there is plenty of entertainment with a chance to win some amazing prizes, stalls for both two legged and four legged guests, games and activities including Temptation Ally full of tasty treats.

Zoe Sheehan, Events Officer, The Mayhew Animal Home says: “Our Hounds on the Heath event is a great day out for all the family, especially for dogs who can join in the fun. There’s a lot to do and get involved in with dog competitions, games and a raffle.”

“We’d ask that people put the date in their diary and come along. It would be great to see everyone there.”

This event is a paradise for pooches and people alike, you’d be barking mad to miss it! Located opposite the athletics track next to Parliament Hill Café, the nearest stations are Hampstead Heath or Gospel Oak.

So what are you waiting for, come and join us for one of the best dog shows of the summer.

All proceeds will go to help The Mayhew help more animals in need across London.
